Mexico Mission

GMMA Southern California student chapters have been blessed with opportunities to go to short-term medical mission trips ranging from one-day to one-week mission trips to La Mision, Baja California. In La Mision, there is a free medical clinic called Siloe Clinic run by a missionary couple named Sarah and Brendan. Sarah and Brendan recognize that what their patients really need and what every one of us need is to encounter Jesus Christ and be changed by Him. Not only they provide free medical care and health education, they aid with spiritual support as a pathway into Christian community and a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Aside from medical ministry, GMMA students have been also serving at Door of Faith Orphanage and Open Arms, a daycare center through VBS, skits and crafts.

Prior to a mission trip, health professionals and students meet together on training days. During these training days, students learn about the community that they will be serving, vital signs, VBS, skit and crafts. More importantly, students and health professionals get to know each other and fellowship.

We welcome health professionals, non-health professionals and students to join us on our upcoming mission trips. Students who are interested in joining us should contact the president of the participating student chapters. Contacts are provided on our Student Chapter tab (http://52.53.161.96/ministry/chapters/)
